Since being established in 2021, Safety Inspections & Housing Services has been known for an unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. It’s this standard of excellence that has provided the impetus for us to grow into the business we are today. With expertise in multiple areas including the non-profit sector as a Housing Inspector, Housing Agent, Property Manager, Financial Literacy Coordinator and Housing Counselor for the past 10 years, we have unique insights on providing quality services and what it takes to help clients succeed.
Having overseen a housekeeping department for a major cleaning account, we also have the skills, knowledge and training to handle clients' cleaning needs. We have completed the requisite (30) Hours of OSHA General Industry Safety Requirements and are capable of providing OSHA safety representation. Our advocacy work has literally kept some of our clients from being homeless. We aggressively go to work for our clients, speaking with landlords, community managers, and property managers on their behalf to try and help them acquire housing. Some clients may have barriers that prevent landlords from wanting to rent to them. We have set several parameters in place to help clients and landlords succeed. Community Outreach Training

First Time Homebuyers Seminars
Safety Inspections & Housing Services is equipped to provide training for first time homebuyers. This training gives you great insights on buying your home and some of the situations you can expect when purchasing a home. Under the training of VHDA, we have a Qualified Trainer on staff to assist you.
Rental Counseling & Budgeting Seminars
This training provides a question and answer session for clients who wish to rent units from private landlords or property managers. The training is designed to help clients become familiar with the Virginia Landlord Tenant Act. Training is also provided on income to debt ratio with some insights on fair housing in the state of Virginia.
Financial Literacy Seminars
Our financial literacy seminars give clients a basic understanding of handling finances. Topics such as: banking, credit unions, checking and saving accounts, credit reports, debt management, keeping a handle on your credit, scams, and a host of other financial training are discussed.
